A Family Business, Still
Our roots are in the communities we are located in. We grew up here, hire here, install here, and answer the phone when something needs attention. Today, S&G operates nine showrooms across two states. Eight in California (Bay Area and Sacramento regions) and one in Rogers, Arkansas, plus multiple local warehouses that are stocked with material, which allows for quick installations.
What hasn't changed is how we treat the people who walk in. We listen first. We ask what the floor needs to do, for the dog, the kids, the open-concept kitchen, the rental that needs to turn fast, and then we recommend what fits. Sometimes that means a premium hardwood. Sometimes it means a budget-friendly carpet.
What 75+ Years Lets Us Promise
Time in the business only matters when it shows up in the work. Here’s how our experience makes a difference.
Giving Back
We’re proud to give back to the communities that have supported us. From donating flooring to Habitat for Humanity – because every family deserves a safe and beautiful home – to our annual Christmas program where we provide our employees with an allowance to make a donation to Toys for Tots in the communities we serve.
Come See Us
Stop by any of our showrooms, open six days a week. Bring photos of your space, your decor, even your dog. We’ll help you explore the options and send you home with large free samples to view them in your home. From there, we come to your home with our mobile showrooms to measure your home and provide a fully itemized bid, show additional samples, pick up any samples you are ready to return, and help you complete your purchase — all in the comfort of your home.
