Shaw offers thousands of different carpet options for your home. Laminate flooring by Shaw comes in hundreds of different sizes, colors, and styles, enough options to fit any room, project, and budget. Shaw’s laminate flooring is constructed in four layers to increase the strength, durability, and overall product. The first layer is a moisture barrier and structural backing the second is the Inner Opticore™ which is made of recycled wood fiber. The third layer is what meets the eye, and matches many features of natural hardwood designs, while the fourth is a protective Melamine layer that protects and offers a tough finish. Another positive aspect of Shaw’s laminate floors is they are eco friendly and sustainable. Shaw uses less newly harvested wood than conventional hardwood floors and feature and environmentally friendly laminate coreboard that’s strong, stable, and resistant to moisture.

Hardwood floors by Shaw come in hundreds of different varieties, hand scraped cherry wood for a rustic feel, finely sanded and polished oak for a traditional look, and many varieties of exotic woods for a hardwood floor with a unique look. As always, Shaw is committed to the environment and our engineered wood floors use less harvested wood that other wood flooring options and come with EnviroCore™, which is an inner layer made from recycled wood fibers.

Traditional hardwood floors from Shaw are milled from single pieces of lumber and are designed to last for generations. All wood used in production of Shaw hardwood floors is sustainable and is delivered and sourced in accordance with the Lacey Act to ensure future generations will have the same access to trees as we do.
